Ok I have to admit it… I have a men’s underwear, swimwear, sportswear and jeans fetish. Or maybe that would be classified as more than one fetish. Even though the examples in a definition of fetish are more severe that what this means to me, I’ll refer to how the Urban Dictionary defines a fetish:

1. An object thought to have magical, especially magically sexual, powers

2. A sexual fixation or obsession with a usually non-sexual object. EX. socks, horses, monkeys, pain, bondage

I guess that could sum it up. It sounds a bit harsh though, and I mean this in purely the complete fun, outgoing, get yourself suited up for a good time, kind of fetish. Wait a minute, that could be misconstrued as well. But I do think some of my underwear has magical powers. All you have to do is look at some of those hot guys in some of the current underwear, swimwear and other clothing pics that are out there these days, and I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there is magic being created!

So, here’s the deal. I like certain types of clothing because they make me feel really good, really sexy and really comfortable whenever I wear them. This can be my favourite underwear, my favourite shorts, a cool t-shirt, my best fitting, make me feel gorgeous, jeans or pants, and more. You get the picture though, right?

This isn’t anything new I’m saying here. People have been going crazy for clothing and other objects for centuries. It used to be that the King and/or Queen of a country set the fashion trends of the nation. If the King wore his vest with the last button undone, well everyone followed suit (no pun intended), ’cause if the King was doing it, it had to be cool.

In those days the people wouldn’t have known what kind of underwear the King was wearing in order to copy him, or to share in his royal-underwear-ness. And jeans weren’t really invented or as widely worn as the staple of every man’s closet that they are now.

In today’s world of Social Media tell-alls, we hear more often than not, what kind of clothing, including underwear, our favourite celebs are wearing. For instance David Beckham is all tight white briefs, Ashton Kutcher is tight little black sport briefs, Rob Pattison is definitely into red geek briefs. I’m not knocking Rob here. I personally like the look and who cares if it is a real picture or not. He looks sensitively sexy.

It fits my fantasy just fine. Taylor Lautner can’t seem to keep his clothes on, but when he does he looks super-hot too. I’m imagining him in his Papi or Andrew Christian jockstrap!

And Prince William (the future King of England)… well, if anyone knows what kind of underwear Prince William prefers or anything he has a fetish for, please tell me in the comments here. I’d love to hear about it and get into some of those “princely” duds myself. I’m guessing Prince Willie is Mr. Boxer Briefs.

Registering your Domain Names should be an easy process. Don’t let anyone tell you that it is complicated. But it is very important to remember, that if you aren’t going to register your own domain names, be sure to tell the person or company registering it for you, to set YOU or YOUR COMPANY up as the Registrant (Owner) of the domain name and this registration should also be completed with your contact information, including phone number and an email address that you monitor. The Administrative Contact and Billing Contact should also be setup as you or your company. The tech person registering the domain name (other than if it is you personally) can register themselves as the Technical Contact, but only with your permission of course.

Too often we have seen, and personally worked with, clients who run into problems and issues with their domains being registered in someone else’s name, when all along they thought they were the owner. We’re not saying that everyone is out to scam you, but please be sure that your domain names are registered with you in charge. If you aren’t setup as the Registered Owner and/or Administrative Contact of your domain names, then whoever registered your domains and set themselves up as the Registrant, Admin Contact, etc., well, they are technically the owner and you’ll need that person’s or their company’s approval to make any changes and updates down the road.

An easy way to verify domain registration information is by going to any link to the WHOIS database. Once there you’ll be able to key in any domain name and see who a domain is registered to. That is unless they have private registration. But if your domain names were registered privately without your prior knowledge, then you should be asking even more questions.

This should be taken seriously. We have a client who has had to wait 5 years to gain back control of his domain name from a past colleague. And that domain name was our client’s personal name. The ownership rights here were so blatantly obvious, but still, there was nothing that could be done without a lot of work and a lawyer, maybe two. There was even incorrect information being posted to that domain’s hosting account about the true owner of the domain and no amount of communication could get it taken down. It wasn’t defamatory enough to raise the proper bells and whistles.

Another client we have been working with for about 2 years, has a yearly domain name registration that is about to expire again. This year, we have been unable to get in touch with the person who originally registered the domain. We have now started the process of trying to have the domain account transferred, but it still takes multiple forms and time we won’t have in order to keep the website live. If the domain registration expires, we’ll have to wait 30-60+ days for it to hit the streets again, leaving it open for re-registration. What if a moments delay, leaves the domain registration open to someone else? We’ll have to monitor this one closely (daily), to be sure nothing goes wrong. All of this could have been avoided if the registration had been done properly to begin with.  Don’t even let trusted employees register your brand, your company’s domain name under their name, with their email address, as part of the company. Unless you have access to that email address, you’ll be stuck should that employee leave and/or become disgruntled.  It’s like a contract, be sure to dot all of your i’s and cross all of your t’s.

All of this can apply to the registration and setup of Hosting Accounts as well. It’s not as serious because you can always just let the Hosting Account go and point the domain name to a new hosting plan account. It may just costs you some money. But the domain registration is a completely different story. Do your due diligence and give it all one quick check as your domains and web hosting accounts go live.  You’ll be very glad you did, if, and hopefully only if, something or someone goes astray.

The movie is set in a world of dragons and Vikings. The story itself revolves around Hiccup, a teenager who lives on an island called Berk, where being a good normal Viking and fighting dragons is supposed to be your destiny.

This animated feature is filled with all the right elements of a root for the underdog, family oriented classic that  has appeal for a wide, diverse audience. I bet, Mom’s and Dad’s were really, really ok with having to sit through this one with the youngsters. The story and animation are so well done you quickly get wrapped up in the whole adventure. The animation is hip, yet has a classic feel and they’ve even managed to make Vikings sexy and cute. Oh yeah, and anyone who goes and criticizes the Scottish Viking accents, hasn’t gotten out and played in their toy box lately, or they’re the kind who tell kids you can’t paint pink and purple trees. Make believe, is just that. And the director deserves an A+.

The CGI is polished, tasteful and daring. The dragons are down-right kooky fun in nature, as if pulled right off the page of a child’s crayon masterpiece. A sharp crayon that is. Each dragon creature even comes with his, or her, own stats. A manual of do’s and don’ts. There is no shortage of imagination with this movie. It’s a must see! The only question is. Do you go back a second time in the theatres or wait for the digital release and watch it again and again from the comfort of your home? I predict that there are plenty of pyjamas and popcorn nights in this flick’s future. As a creative youngster, this movie would have sent my inspiration quotient off the radar. I would have wanted to hurry home to draw my own versions of each of the characters, and then had a set of next adventures for Hiccup and the gang all ready to go. As it was, I came home from seeing this heart-warming movie as an adult and opened my laptop right away to checkout the “How To” website. I then ended up with my own hatched dragon and happily shared it on Facebook with friends.

I really liked that with this movie the Director wasn’t afraid to show us that the good guy doesn’t always finish last. One of the things I appreciated most about this movie was that even though it followed somewhat of a formula in its boy meets wild animal, boy befriends wild animal, wild animal eventually comes to the boy’s rescue storyline, it thankfully didn’t have an annoying, silly side-kick with scrappy humour that made you want to run from the theatre. Instead, most of the film focused on this troubled teen with a creative spirit, who found the bright-side of life by following his passions and his dreams. Something we should never tire of being reminded of, and especially when it is this well done.

This movie is destined to become a top of the pile DVD must have to be viewed again and again at home, especially when you’re just looking for an adventurous feel good movie and/or you need to entertain some younger family and friends. How To Train Your Dragon has already made it to my list of Top 10 movies of 2010.
